Air Product's "Growing With Science" Program
Growing with Science is a program involving volunteers from Air Products that work with educators from Sheridan Elementary School in Allentown, Pa. to prepare curriculum enhancement sessions for the students. The lesson plans include interdisciplinary lessons of math, science, and language for the elementary school students.

Hewlett Packard's E-mail Mentor Program
The E-mail Mentor Program is a program where HP employees volunteer to mentor students in grades 5-12 through e-mail. The program was designed to help students excel in math and science. The program also has a strong focus on professional career exploration.

Hewlett Packard, Intel and Microsoft's Applying Computers in Education Project
This program is a 10 day hands on program for teachers to receive training on integrating technology into their curriculum. The program's sponsors will contribute several awards to the teachers including PC's, software, netservers, scanners, and printers.

Project FIRST (Fostering Instructional Reform through Service and Technology)
FIRST is designed to integrate technology into the curriculum in public schools and increase community involvement. IBM-trained AmeriCorps. volunteers are serving as technology coordinators in the public schools.

The Olympic Cyber School combines Olympic Games with lessons in math, social studies, and science for students grade 4-8.

Intel's Workforce Development Programs
Intel's Workforce Development Program centers around building partnership with high schools. The focus of the partnership is curriculum, faculty development, computer labs, and donations of equipment. Intel offers this programs in selected states across the nation.

Motorola's Teachers-In-Industry 
A Motorola designed program that hires teachers from AISD to work as summer interns for 8 weeks in various departments. It has been a  site wide program for over the last 7 years. In APRDL, they  have participated for 5 years and developed curricula that is being used in developing work force job skills for students.

Motorola Guest Teachers
Guest Teachers is a program in which qualified and certified Motorola employees act as substitute teachers. This program allows teachers to pursue professional development opportunities. Students benefit from the exposure to a Professional with information about careers.
Sandia Community Tours
Sandia provides tours and explanations of selected Sandia facilities and programs to help community groups understand Sandia's missions and technical operations.

Sandia's Leadership Academy for Science Education Reform (LASER)
LASER is a 3 year leadership institute for elementary school teachers designed to improve instructional methods with focus on science.LASER is a National Teacher Enhancement Project by Sandia Laboratories.

Sandia's Science Understanding Promotes Environmental Responsibility (SUPER)
Super is a professional enhancement program by Sandia laboratories for middle school and high school teachers. This program includes an intensive summer institute and year round activities.

Sandia's 2020 Vision Project
The 2020 Vision project introduces students and teachers to national security issues. Teams of students are engaged in an interactive process of creating scenarios relevant to Department of Energy Defense Programs.

Science Bowl was created to offer students who excel in math and science, and the teachers who prepared them to receive national recognition for their talent and hard work. Competitions are held at regional and national levels.

3M's Teachers Working In Science and Technology (TWIST)
TWIST is a   summer program for teachers. The program provides science and math teachers with hands-on laboratory experience .  Teachers spend six weeks in St. Paul, where they work with company scientists on research projects.

Rockwell Semiconductor's "Soar with Science"
This program allows teachers to attend a week long summer space camp. The teachers will develop creative  math and science curriculum.
