Advanced Micro Devices Accelerated Careers in Electronics (ACE)
ACE is a program that combines high school and junior college classes with paid
internships at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). The program provides direct experience and

Hewlett Packard's E-mail Mentor Program
The E-mail mentor program is a program where HP employees volunteer to mentor students
grades 5-12 through e-mail. The program was designed to help students excel at math and

Hewlett Packard's Internship Program
Hewlett Packard along with Windsor High School and Circuit Rider Productions developed a
internship program for sophomores from Windsor. The students will be assigned a supervisor

Careers@Micron
Careers@Micron is a program offered to high school
students in grades 11 and 12. It offers a general introduction to technical careers and
provides an in- depth job shadowing opportunity. Students are also able to seek individual
career information in the career presentations with flyers, brochures, and hands on
activities.
Micron's Women in Technical Careers
This program consists of a lunch-time career presentation. Employees from Micron attend
to inform female high school students about the careers at Micron.
Motorola Apprentice Program for Students (MAPS)
This program hires local high school students from Phoenix, Arizona on a part time basis
for internships. There are approximately 8 students participating with a connection with
the vocational high school. Motorola provides one-on-one mentoring, supervision,
and independence, while the high school provides the education. In order to participate in

Motorola's "IC and the Future"
This program gives students a chance to view careers dealing with current technology.
Students will be able to participate in a manufacturing situation and marketing
activities. They will also be exposed to products and materials used to integrate circuit
engineering.
Motorola's Youth Enrichment in Semiconductors (YES)
YES is a program that exposes children to examples of technology in action. The program
provides tours where students will benefit from hands on experience in the semiconductor
wafer-fab.
Sandia Community Tours
Sandia provides tours and explanations of selected Sandia facilities and programs to
